The Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) mourns the passing of Lois Cox, CRS, of Pleasanton, California—a dedicated leader, mentor and friend whose impact reached far beyond her successful real estate career.
With more than 25 years in real estate, Lois built a reputation for professionalism, persistence and an extraordinary commitment to building relationships. During her time with RRC, she was honored with the President’s Award (2010), CRS of the Year Award (2013) and the Lifetime Achievement Award (2023).
For those who knew Lois, however, her greatest legacy was the difference she made in the lives of others. Fellow CRS and mentee Gregg Fujita remembers her as “the ultimate agent referral prospector,” and above all, a true mentor who saw potential in others before they saw it in themselves.
“Lois made an incredible difference in life,” Gregg shared. “She did not have to take on the role of guiding and encouraging me, but she did—and I do not know where I would be without her. She is responsible for many of the great things in my life.”
Lois’s generosity, infectious smile, dedication to her profession and unwavering support for her RRC colleagues will not be forgotten.
