Traveling Tech
Its hard to complain if youre on vacation this summer, but if you did find something to gripe about, it would probably be the lack of amenities youre used to having at home. From a phone battery that is out of juice due to lack of access to an outlet to not having a way to play music in your rental or hotel, the small inconveniences can be annoying. Beyond the Surface
If you want to work while youre traveling, check out Microsofts new Surface 3 tablet. On the heels of last years Surface Pro 3, the Surface 3 is a less expensive tablet that still offers much of the same functionality and design as its big brother. It runs the full version of Windows 8, so you can use Microsofts tablet-centric interface as well as a traditional Windows interface (it will run Windows 10 when its released this year). The Surface 3s case (sold separately) also functions as a keyboard.
