As a REALTOR® for 25 years, I have always valued education and developing new sources of revenue. A CRS REALTOR® in California contacted me after reviewing my profile on the website. She recommended me to a relocation firm in Detroit to handle several HSBC transfers from London. The employees needed to lease single-family homes for three years. It was very involved—obtaining their U.S. documents, leasing furniture, a lot of required paperwork and dealing with a corporate attorney in New York.
After completing the assignments, the Detroit relocation firm was bought by a Connecticut firm, and I was recommended to them. The next referral was a $650,000 purchase with no fees. I did not cover the area, but referred it to another CRS REALTOR® with a referral fee. She did a great job and got the listing back two years later. One relationship can develop into so much more!
